Hi, I’m Andre!

I pursue what inspires me.

I’m a Timer and a Maker. What in the world is a Timer? I work events (think: running, triathlon, cycling, and swimming), providing live tracking & results for the athletes who are racing. I have worked in the event industry for over 20 years. I love a challenge, where I can put my problem-solving skils to use, which is also what I absolutely love about sewing and embroidery.

I am always looking for ways to make things. I like bringing imagination to life to create things I can share with others. I started sewing as an avenue to express that creativity, and later learned the art of embroidery. I enjoy the challenge of taking an idea and finding the right process to make it into something tangeable, practical, unique, and beautiful. I also find it to be quite meditative and enchanting. You sit there and figure out how you’re going to put all the pieces of the puzzle together, how it’s all going to fit and fold. And then you get to work designing, prepping, stitching, and there it is!
